Barry is also an exceptional hockey mind. If you sit down with him to watch film, he’s straightforward but patient, taking the time to explain the details behind every play: what went right, what went wrong, and how to make the right read next time. He breaks the game down in a way that not only makes sense but also makes you a better player. He truly cares about player development and takes pride in seeing his guys succeed, whether that’s earning a bigger role on their team, making a junior roster, or simply gaining more confidence on the ice.
Overall, Barry and the Cape Cod Hockey staff have built something special; a place where players are pushed to compete, supported to grow, and reminded why they fell in love with the game in the first place.
